Charity Status for BAVG!

Following a lot of work, taking advice and help from Rural Communities Council Leicestershire and a few other sources, along with filling in a ‘few’ forms we were delighted to receive news from the Charity Commission that our application had been accepted and BAVG are an official registered charity from 15th October 2020. This means

Responding to some residents requests to join a group of like-minded gardeners, we contacted them and arranged for those able and interested to meet up and carry out a few gardening improvements around the village. These projects were carried out between lock-downs in September/October 2020. The first jobs included planting of snowdrop & daffodil bulbs
