Kurling
Broughton Astley Village Hall. Kurling on Monday & Tuesday mornings, and Wednesday evenings.
New Age Kurling is similar to bowls but is traditionally played inside and uses a static target rather than a moving ball. Each team has a set number of stones and take it in turns to slide a stone towards the target, with the winning teams stone closest to the centre of the target.
We have three thriving weekly kurling groups, with lots of comradery and often competitions and social events organised too. There are two daytime groups and one in the evening to suit all circumstances and anyone is welcome.
