Monday 29th March, the first day we really feel we can see the end of lockdown in the not too far off distance! With the new rules allowing 6 people to meet outside, socially distanced, we arranged to 3 groups of six to start in different areas of Broughton Astley brook to remove rubbish and weeds.
Two hours of hard work, in and outside the brook, and around 20 sacks of rubbish and weeds were cleared. There is still some work to be done and that will be carried out later in April.
A big thank you to our BAVG gardening and conservation volunteers!
