One team of 6 willing volunteers undertook the task of clearing the area of the brook in-front of the churchyard of the dead plant material and the litter that had crept in since our last clean. The job was bigger than we thought but we managed to get it completed in our allotted 2 hour
Broughton Astley Parish Council secured a grant in the form of 50 sapling trees to be planted in a conservation area of the village. These consisted of Oak, Hazel and Crab Apple.
