Following a lot of work, taking advice and help from Rural Communities Council Leicestershire and a few other sources, along with filling in a ‘few’ forms we were delighted to receive news from the Charity Commission that our application had been accepted and BAVG are an official registered charity from 15th October 2020.
This means a lot to us as now we can apply for grants ourselves and have our own Charity bank account to enable us to easily distribute funds and pay for essentials like our phone and insurance costs and the Broughton InTouch newsletter printing.
